Finally, Facebook is releasing its mobile app for iPad. It’s not showing yet on the App Store. But if you visit the Facebook mobile app (click here), you’ll find the official site for the Facebook for iPad mobile app. The one page product site doesn’t say much about the app as well except for the preview of the different views that the app will have as well as a listing with brief descriptions of its major features.
So, once the Facebook app for iPad goes live on the App Store, get ready to enjoy bigger and better photos in high-resolution and easy to flip interface on the mobile app. The app will also let you easily zoom in on your friends’ photos, updates and stories. Of course, like other Facebook apps for iPad, this official app will let you maximize the use of your iPad’s touch navigation features to send Facebook messages, see notifications or browse your bookmarks without switching screens.
Facebook for iPad will also let you play games on the go, and has a simple dropdwon menu that makes it easier for you to scan and send messages without going to your Facebook account inbox.
The screenshots provided on the Facebook for iPad site looks pretty interesting as well. It looks like the Facebook for iPad will be another hit just like its iPhone counterpart.
Now, to wait for Facebook for iPad to propagate in the App Store.
