So after learning about some photos of the iPad 3 components, we’re now reading that Apple may announce the iPad 3 this coming March. The information was passed on by tech site AllThingsD which said that Apple will be holding a special eve during the first week of March. For what purpose? Of course – to introduce the next iPad or iPad 3.

Citing reliable sources, the report said that the event will most likely happen during the first week of March, probably in San Franciso. Although no exact date for the release of the iPad 3 was mentioned by the report, history of Apple’s product launches will tell us that the release date will happen right after the event.

Those who have been following Apple’s previous events to launch a new product, will know that this rumored date follows Apple’s cyclical schedule. The iPad 2 was launched almost at the same period last year.

Now, here’s the interesting part. The report said that the iPad 3 might sport similar form factor as the iPad 2 plus other previously rumored specs including the Retina or “almost Retina Display.” The iPad 3?s screen resolution might be somewhere 2048×1536 which is actually almost as close as the display resolution with Retina Display.

Finally, the site also said that if 2011 was the year of the iPad, 2012 will be the year of the iPad 3.It will also be a year of excited, since we’re all waiting for this to happen.
