So, what’s the latest about the much-awaited iPad 3? Well, aside from the rumors and speculations saying that the next iPad might be released sometime in March, a new rumor has just surfaced about Apple’s next-generation tablet. This time, the latest information is coming from Repair Labs at Fix-iPhone.com which obtained an alleged iPad 3 component and compared it side-by-side with the back panel of the iPad 2.
Guess what they’ve found out? Based on their comparisons of the back panels, it seems that the iPad 3 has different mounts for its logic board. This means that the next iPad will have a major change with its logic board – allowing for a possible larger battery for the iPad 3.

Next thing they’ve observed is the fact that the iPad 3 camera might also be different but the site could not figure out how different it will be from the iPad 2 camera.
Lastly, the site also declares that the LCD display of the iPad 3 will also be different from the iPad 2 due to the different mounting in the new back panel. This is somehow related to earlier rumors saying that the next iPad might have Retina Display.
But then of course, these all remains to be rumors for now. Unless we hear something official coming from Apple, I think it would be best not to expect too much as of this writing. Until then, watch for some more new rumors coming out as the rumored tentative launch date of the next iPad comes near.
