Now here’s a very interesting bit of news about the next iPad coming from a very reputable source. Bloomberg is reporting that the iPad 3 which Apple is eyeing to release in March will feature a high-definition screen, faster processor and will be running on the next-generation wireless networks (read: LTE).
Citing source familiar with the product, Bloomberg also reported that Apple’s manufacturing partners in Asia are expediting the production of the iPad 3 starting this month. This is to meet full volume requirements come February. The report also said that Apple’s CEO Tim Cook is keen of eradicating the challenges being imposed by the current crop of tablets introduced in the market. And Mr. Cook is banking on the iPad 3 to make this happen.

Additionally, the iPad 3 which will be sporting a quad-core processor is expected to be released for public sale in March 2012. Making it even more exciting is the fact that the iPad 3 is being geared up to run on 4G LTE networks. This will mean faster browsing experience on the go for future iPad 3 owners.
In case you’re wondering how come Apple is releasing an LTE-equipped iPad first before an iPhone, well according to Bloomberg, the reason behind this is that the iPad has bigger battery and will be able to support the power requirements of newer technology.
Finally, the iPad 3 will be sporting a high-definition display. It will have more pixels on its screen, even more than what most HD TVs have, according to the Bloomberg source. The pixels of the iPad 3 display will also be small enough to enable the said tablet to display images the same way that they will appear on print. And with faster processor, the iPad 3 will be able to play HD videos instantly as well.
So, there. Some more reasons to get excited about the upcoming iPad 3.
