I decided that maybe I should do this every week, since publishers give us a lot of price drops and freebies all the time. I wanna share the love!

Much like last week, free games are in italics!

1. Corona Indie Bundle (value of 5 bucks down to $0.99)

Friday App Store Promos: October 15, 2011

What’s better than a cheap game? A cheaper game! And what’s better than that? Five cheaper games. The Corona Indie Bundle will give you five hit indie games, which include the point and click masterpiece, The Secret of Grisly Manor, and Robot 99, which features parachuting robots. Also included are games Walkabout, Chickens Quest and Float. People are raving in the app review page, so you know I am not alone on this opinion!

3.  Contract Killer: Zombies (free)

Friday App Store Promos: October 15, 2011

I just love Contract Killer, the best sniper game in the iPad. Glu Mobile, the developer just launched the zombified version of the game, Contract Killer: Zombies. The game, much like the original Contract Killer is free, but this time, the game has a much more intact story and you now have to protect your damsel, Evelyn (or her brains) from the zombies of different sizes, gender and speed, as she scavenge supplies for this post-zombie-apocalyptic setting. The zombies do not talk though… bummer.

The tower defense genre for the iPad is certainly not lacking, but it does lack free TD games. Fortunately, with the help of Open Feint, we can download this awesometastic TD, Sentinel 2. Free for a limited time only, so download now.

Boss Battles fondly remind me of the NES game, ASO (Armoured Scrum Object), which I loved. Who knows that the touch based iPad is a great port for side scrolling shoot-em-up? never thoughht of it. But yes, it works great, so this is definitely download worthy.
